Education & Legal Background

Marcos earned his Bachelor of Arts in English from The University of Texas at Austin in 1996. He later obtained both his Juris Doctor from the University of Houston Law Center and his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Houston School of Business in 2000.

During law school, Marcos served prestigious judicial clerkships with the Honorable Vanessa D. Gilmore of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas and the Honorable Eric G. Andell of the First District Court of Appeals. These early experiences provided him with invaluable insight into courtroom procedures, judicial decision-making, and trial strategy.

Trial Experience & Professional Career

After graduating, Marcos began his legal career in 2000 with a prominent Dallas litigation firm, where he first-chaired trials in Dallas and Tarrant Counties and represented clients in Harris County courts. This early hands-on courtroom experience laid the foundation for his strategic, results-driven approach to legal advocacy.

In 2004, Marcos founded Adrogué Law Firm, PLLC, focusing exclusively on criminal defense and immigration law. Since its founding, the firm has successfully handled over 13,000 criminal cases in Harris County alone, earning a reputation for excellence, preparation, and client-focused representation.

The firm also represents clients in Fort Bend, Galveston, Brazoria, and surrounding Texas counties.

Marcos is licensed to practice law in Texas and is admitted to practice before multiple federal courts, including the Northern, Eastern, Southern, and Western Districts of Texas.
